Kingfisher Inn



  A fly fishing lodge on the Arroyo Colorado of south Texas  serving the Lower Laguna Madre

    Situated on the banks of the Arroyo Colorado, Kingfisher Inn consists of a waterfront cottage that has served as Kingfisher's guest quarters for the last six years. The house next door is also available by advance arrangement to provide lodging  for larger groups.
   The cottage contains three suites -- an upstairs "Treehouse" suite and the downstairs "Southwest Suite" and "Cactus Suite." 

            Treehouse Suite: This fully carpeted suite takes up the entire upstairs of the cottage. It has a full kitchen with microwave, fridge, sink, and oven. It has a queen -size bed, a single bed, and two dormers in which rollaway beds can be positioned for larger parties. The suite overlooks the Arroyo through double windows.
            Southwest Suite:  This spacious two-room ground-floor suite has a queen-size bed and a single bed. It has a kitchenette, Saltillo tile floor and sitting area outside French doors.
       Cactus Suite:  This carpeted, ground-floor suite has a full-size bed and a single bed in a separate room. It has a kitchen set-up exactly like the Treehouse Suite, and shares a bathroom (separate entrance) with the Southwest room.

Overlooking the Arroyo Colorado, Kingfisher Inn offers an away-from-home retreat in pleasant, natural surroundings.
